The role will primarily focus on ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant reporting to Credit Information Companies (CICs), Reserve Bank of India (RBI), government authorities, trustees, auditors, banking partners, and other regulatory agencies applicable to the NBFC sector.The incumbent will drive data quality, reporting governance, portfolio analytics, regulatory compliance reporting, reconciliation frameworks, and reporting automation while ensuring adherence to RBI guidelines, CIC reporting standards, and statutory requirements.Key Responsibilities1. Regulatory & Statutory ReportingManage end-to-end submission of regulatory and compliance reports to RBI and other applicable regulatory authorities.Oversee periodic reporting to all Credit Information Companies (CIBIL, Experian, Equifax and CRIF High Mark).Ensure timely and accurate submission of borrower-level, facility-level, repayment, overdue, write-off, and settlement data.Prepare and validate regulatory returns, statutory disclosures, and data submissions required under RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs.Liaise with compliance, risk, finance, audit, and technology teams to ensure reporting obligations are met.Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on reporting requirements and data architecture.2. Bureau Reporting & Data GovernanceOwn CIC reporting data quality, reconciliation, exception management, and error resolution.Establish data validation controls before bureau submissions.Investigate and resolve bureau rejection cases, data mismatches, and customer disputes.Perform periodic reconciliation between LMS, Core Systems, Accounting Systems, Bureau Files, and Regulatory Reports.Maintain audit trails and documentation for all reporting activities.Support bureau audits, internal audits, statutory audits, and RBI inspections.3. Business Intelligence & Portfolio AnalyticsDevelop MIS dashboards and portfolio monitoring reports for management.Analyze portfolio performance, delinquency trends, collections efficiency, write-offs, recoveries, and exposure concentration.Provide insights on operational, credit, and portfolio performance metrics.Build automated reporting frameworks to improve accuracy and reduce manual intervention.Support business teams with ad-hoc analytics and management reporting.4. Reporting Automation & Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to automate regulatory and management reporting processes.Develop standardized reporting templates and reporting controls.Implement maker-checker controls and exception monitoring mechanisms.Drive process improvements for data extraction, validation, transformation, and reporting workflows.Collaborate with Product and Technology teams for reporting enhancements and system integrations.5.
