Cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, an endless pool, saunas and ice baths, reformer Pilates, red light therapy, Vasper, CAROL, a full gym floor and five practitioner treatment rooms. We opened in January 2025. Our members expect an exceptional standard every time they walk through the door. THE ROLE We are looking for someone exceptionally organised to run the operation behind the club, and to keep making it better. Three days a week you will own stock and suppliers, the class timetable, instructor cover, the front of house rota and our compliance. Two days a week you will be on the front desk with our members. Much of what you will inherit already works well. Some of it could work a great deal better, and you will have both the freedom and the support to change it. There is no layer of approval to get through here: if you find a better way of doing something, you will be trusted to make the change. WHAT YOU WILL DO Stock and suppliers- Stock control and monthly stock takes- Ordering and day to day supplier management- Developing our front of house retail range, including sourcing new wholesalers- Keeping the staff kitchen and stock rooms well organised Timetable, instructors and practitioners- Managing class schedules and timetable updates- Setting up new classes and planning the operational changes that follow- Working with our Pilates instructors and practitioners on bookings, scheduling and updates- Sourcing and coordinating cover instructors The front of house team- Day to day management and support of the team- Team rotas, holiday and time in lieu- Team communications and front of house meetings- Front of house recruitment and onboarding Members and systems- Member enquiries, particularly through our booking system- Member communications by phone, email and WhatsApp- Supporting the team to use the booking system well and take on more themselves- Keeping member records accurate and up to date Compliance, contractors and the building- Keeping the compliance register current- Renewing certificates, servicing, insurance and practitioner documents ahead of expiry- Coordinating contractors and their visits- Logging faults as they appear and following them through to resolution- Daily food safety and fridge temperature checks Standards- Changing room checks and towel management- The presentation of reception, the changing rooms, the studios and the gym floor Improving how we work- Reviewing how we do things and rebuilding the processes that could be better- Ongoing improvements to our front of house systems TWO DAYS ON THE FRONT DESK The desk is where you will see the club as our members do, and where you will spot most of what needs fixing. You will welcome members by name, look after enquiries, handle check ins and bookings, and make excellent coffee. ABOUT YOU - Exceptionally organised, with a natural eye for the detail other people miss- A few years of carrying real responsibility, and comfortable making a decision and standing behind it- Someone who enjoys improving a process, not only running one- Confident owning stock, suppliers and a consumables budget- Able to build a rota and lead a small team well- Warm with people, and genuinely interested in them- Comfortable with spreadsheets, booking systems and keeping good records- Happy to work one weekend day most weeks, with early starts and later finishes on a rota We would love to hear from you if your background is in premium hospitality, hotels, spa, members' clubs or fitness reception. We would equally love to hear from you if it is in office management, facilities, stock control, or operations and compliance administration. If you have done a bit of both, even better. HOURS AND HOLIDAY - 40 hours a week, and never more than five days- Three days operations, two days front of house, with cover on the desk when the rota needs it- Rota Monday to Sunday between 5.45am and 8.15pm- One weekend day most weeks- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays WHAT YOU WILL GET - £32,000 a year, paid monthly by BACS on the last Friday- Full use of the club.
