Operations Associate (Full-Time) for leading fintech scale-upFull-time, on site in central CopenhagenPluto.markets is one of the most promising scale-ups on the Nordic venture scene, backed by Y Combinator, leading VCs and 6 local unicorn founders, building the next chapter of investing.After building out the platform for four years, we have built a product that users love with high engagement and retention and healthy unit economics. Now it's time to scale, with the goal to acquire 40,000+ new customers over the next 12 months and launch across Europe.As an Operations Associate, you'll help build the processes and systems that make that growth possible, working closely with the management and founders who currently run the daily operations.Who we arePluto.markets is a neobroker, founded in Copenhagen in 2021 and regulated by the Danish FSA. We have built the first investment platform in the Nordics offering low commission trading, fractional shares, crypto and our ETF-alternative: Collections.Users already love what we do. Since our public launch we have achieved:Trades worth 5bn+ DKK executed on the platform2,000,000+ trades20,000+ registered usersFounders are former Goldman Sachs Trader and Economist, Joakim Bruchmann, and software engineer Oscar Vingtoft.We are based on Købmagergade in the city centre with a team currently of around 20 FTEs.The roleYou'll own key parts of our daily operations and help design how they scale. This is a role where you're expected to spot problems, fix them and make processes better, working directly with founders and management. You will:Own customer onboarding and KYC, and improve how we handle them as volumes growMonitor transactions, investigate AML alerts and support regulatory reportingManage client money flows, reconciliations and settlement of trades and transfersWork with external partners such as banks, brokers and custodiansFind manual processes and automate or redesign themDrive cross-functional projects such as new product launches and market expansionAbout youScaling a regulated financial company requires bulletproof systems, processes and state-of-the-art execution, so we are looking for a structured and extremely driven graduate. Our ideal candidate:Holds, or is about to complete, a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business, math or another relevant fieldHas a genuine interest in financial markets and investingIs analytical, with strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (SQL or scripting is a plus)Takes ownership naturally and is self-drivenThrives in fast-moving environments and is not afraid to work directly with founders and managementHas a strong work ethic and attention to detailSpeaks Danish, Swedish or Norwegian (an advantage)Relevant experience from a student job, internship or similar is a plus, but not a requirement.What we offerA full-time position with a competitive salaryReal ownership from day one and a direct line to foundersA broad role across operations, compliance and finance, with room to grow into a specialist or lead roleNew office in the centre of Copenhagen and paid lunchA front-row seat to how a fast-growing fintech scalesAre you the one?
