We're Hiring: Operations & Procurement CoordinatorLocation: Mlolongo, Machakos County, KenyaType: Full-time, PermanentStart Date: ImmediateExhibit Africa is one of East Africa's leading exhibition stand design and build companies, delivering world-class exhibition stands, country pavilions and event infrastructure across the region.We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to become the operational backbone of our Kenya office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple activities at once, has excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.Key ResponsibilitiesSource materials, products and services in line with approved specifications and project requirements.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.Prepare purchase orders, payment requests and procurement documentation.Maintain accurate inventory records across our inventory management systems.Coordinate stock movements and ensure workshop assets are properly tracked.Oversee the day-to-day administration of our workshop and office facilities, including utilities, internet, security and general maintenance.Support health and safety administration and maintain operational records.Arrange transport, accommodation and logistics for exhibition build-up teams.Coordinate outsourced contractors and daily labour, ensuring all records and documentation are up to date.Work closely with the Country Manager and wider project team to support the successful delivery of exhibitions and events.Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and administrative processes.RequirementsExcellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory management, logistics coordination or operations administration.Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable learning new systems.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Fluent in both English and Kiswahili.Own vehicle available for company business (mileage reimbursement provided).A proactive, dependable and solution-oriented mindset.DesirablePrevious experience within the exhibitions, events, construction or manufacturing sectors.Experience using inventory or ERP systems.Knowledge of procurement best practices and supplier management.What We OfferA varied and rewarding role supporting exciting projects across East Africa.A collaborative and ambitious team environment.Opportunities for professional growth and increased responsibility as the company expands.Competitive salary, based on experience.If you're an organised, hands-on professional who enjoys keeping operations running smoothly and wants to be part of one of East Africa's fastest-growing exhibition companies, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today and join the team behind some of East Africa's leading exhibitions and live events.
