As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on, adaptable team member to support our day-to-day operations across production, fulfillment and customer experience.Position SummaryWe’re looking for an Operations Coordinator — Production & Fulfillment to join the Wildcraft team on a full-time, 12-month contract. This is an in-person position requiring 5 days per week on-site at our Toronto studio.This is a varied, hands-on role that works across production, fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and customer service. Responsibilities will shift depending on the needs of the business — some days may be spent picking and packing ecommerce and wholesale orders, while others may involve receiving inventory, preparing shipments, supporting customers, or working alongside our production team to manufacture and package our small-batch skincare.The role includes regular shipping and receiving responsibilities, including receiving skids of ingredients and packaging, safely moving materials using a pallet jack, organizing inventory, and preparing outgoing skids for our retail partners.We’re looking for someone who is physically capable, comfortable with hands-on work, and enjoys being active throughout the day. Above all, you’re reliable, detail-oriented, friendly and willing to jump in wherever help is needed.While this position is initially being hired as a 12-month contract, there may be an opportunity for a permanent position at the end of the contract depending on business needs and company growth.Key ResponsibilitiesFulfillmentPick, pack and prepare ecommerce and wholesale orders accurately and efficientlyUse Shopify and Stallion to process orders, create shipments and prepare shipping labelsFollow established fulfillment procedures and daily shipping prioritiesQuality check products and flag any issuesCoordinate pickups with shipping and courier partnersProcess customer returns and exchanges as neededShipping, Receiving & InventoryReceive incoming deliveries and skids of ingredients, packaging and suppliesSafely use a manual pallet jack to move incoming and outgoing skidsOrganize incoming inventory and verify shipments for accuracyBuild, wrap and prepare outgoing skids and larger wholesale orders for our retail partnersAssist with inventory counts and monitor stock levels of finished products, packaging and production materialsKeep receiving, storage and shipping areas organized and safeCustomer ServiceRespond to customer inquiries through our customer service channels in a friendly and timely mannerAssist with order and shipping questions, returns and exchangesAnswer product questions and provide product recommendationsAssist with questions related to promotions, our loyalty program and other customer concernsCommunicate recurring customer feedback or product concerns to the teamProduction & PackagingSupport the production team with the manufacturing and packaging of our natural skincare productsFollow established manufacturing procedures, batch records and production instructionsWeigh and prepare raw materials and ingredients for productionAssist with mixing and compounding products as needed, including maneuvering bulk ingredient drumsOperate small-scale mixing, heating and filling equipment once trainedFill, pour, label, cap and box finished productsSanitize equipment, tools and production areas according to established proceduresComplete quality checks to help ensure products meet Wildcraft standardsAssemble samples and kits as neededGeneral OperationsHelp keep production, fulfillment, inventory and shared work areas clean and organizedAssist with cleaning and general studio upkeepJump in on other operational tasks as priorities changeSkills & QualificationsComfortable with physically demanding work and being active throughout the workdayAble to safely lift and move boxes, containers and materials weighing up to 50 lbsPhysically capable and comfortable maneuvering ingredient drums weighing up to approximately 200 lbs using a drum dollyComfortable receiving, moving and preparing palletized shipmentsPrevious experience using a manual pallet jack is a strong assetExperience in fulfillment, shipping/receiving, production, manufacturing, warehousing or another hands-on operational environment is an assetExperience in skincare, cosmetics or personal care manufacturing is an asset, but not requiredStrong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accuratelyStrong written and verbal communication skills with a friendly, customer-focused approachAble to work efficiently without compromising accuracy or product qualityReliable, organized and comfortable working independently once trainedPositive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to jump between different tasksFamiliarity with Shopify, Stallion, inventory systems or GMP practices is an assetWhat We OfferAnnual salary of $50,000–$60,000, depending on experienceFull-time hours, Monday to FridayComprehensive benefits package, including paramedical and dental coverageSummer hoursEmployee discount on Wildcraft productsA friendly, collaborative and tight-knit teamThe opportunity to gain hands-on experience across production, ecommerce and wholesale operationsPotential opportunity for a permanent position following the 12-month contract, depending on business needs and company growthHow to ApplyPlease send us your resume to natalie@wildcraftcare.com along with a short introduction telling us:Why you’re interested in joining the Wildcraft teamWhat experience you have that would make you a great fit for this varied, hands-on roleWe’d especially love to hear from people who enjoy variety in their work, are comfortable with the physical side of the role, enjoy working with customers, and are happy to jump in wherever needed.
