Operations Director

Location: Jeddah, Saudi ArabiaLevel: Director / Senior LeadershipRole OverviewLead the end-to-end operations of a large-scale live destination / live holiday destination, ensuring exceptional visitor experience, operational efficiency, safety, asset performance, and service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect day-to-day operations across destination facilities, attractions, hospitality, public areas, and supporting infrastructure.Lead Facilities Management (FM), technical, engineering, maintenance, and operational service delivery.Establish and monitor operational standards, KPIs, SLAs, budgets, and performance improvement initiatives.Ensure all facilities, systems, utilities, and assets operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.Lead operational readiness, mobilisation, seasonal planning, and continuous improvement.Manage and coordinate internal teams, contractors, operators, and service providers.Ensure compliance with HSE, regulatory, quality, and operational standards.Drive a seamless, high-quality visitor and guest experience across the destination.Provide senior leadership, operational reporting, risk management, and strategic recommendations to executive management.Requirements15+ years of relevant operations, facilities, engineering, or technical management experience.Proven senior leadership experience within a live destination, holiday destination, resort, theme park, entertainment destination, or hospitality destination.Strong FM, technical and engineering background with hands-on operational leadership.Experience managing complex, multi-asset environments and large operational teams.Strong understanding of maintenance, facilities, utilities, infrastructure, HSE, contractors, and service delivery.Demonstrated experience in operational readiness, mobilisation, or opening/live operations is highly desirable.Engineering or technical degree preferred.Strong commercial, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
