Operations Excellence Manager

Are you an experienced Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence Manager who can turn business challenges into practical improvements and deliver measurable results?As a leader, you’ll be both strategic and hands-on, working with teams on the shop floor and senior stakeholders to drive improvements and deliver results.Operational Excellence Manager Permanent Salary is up to £70,000Monday– Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm Friday 7:30am-12:30pmKingsbury, Greater LondonOperational Excellence Manager Job DescriptionLead the continuous improvement strategy across the site and ensure it supports overall business objectives.Identify and prioritise improvement opportunities across safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, productivity and capacity.Lead cross-functional improvement projects from initial idea through to implementation and long term sustainability.Build business cases for improvement projects, including costs, benefits, resources and expected return.Introduce and embed Lean and Continuous Improvement tools, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping etc.Operational Excellence Manager Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Strong practical knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.Proven experience leading projects from initial concept and planning through implementation, taking full ownership and accountability for delivery, and ensuring successful completion with measurable, sustainable results.A proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in areas such as productivity, quality, cost, delivery and capacity.Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing teams at all levels.Experience using ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 ideallyLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt qualification.Operational Excellence Manager Company BenefitsPension contribution (via salary sacrifice) from: Up to 8% employee + employer 10.5%Life Assurance (3x annual salary)Business travel insuranceOption to join Private Healthcare Scheme after 3 monthsCycle scheme, Home and Tech, Discounts on retail platformsElectric Car scheme (salary sacrifice)YuLife Employee Benefits and Wellbeing appLearning and development opportunities25 days + BH holidaysYou will have the opportunity to shape the Continuous Improvement agenda, influence how the business operates and help build the foundations for future growth!
