Operations Executive

Job Overview:The Operations Executive will support the day-to-day coordination and execution of freight and logistics operations. The role will involve managing shipments, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, monitoring operational activities, and ensuring services are delivered accurately and on schedule.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and monitor the movement of shipments from collection through to final delivery.Liaise with internal teams, clients, suppliers, airlines, shipping lines, and other service providers to ensure smooth execution of shipments.Prepare and maintain accurate shipment and operational documentation.Track shipment progress and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.Identify and resolve operational issues, delays, or discrepancies in a timely manner.Ensure all operational activities are carried out in accordance with company SOPs and relevant industry regulations.Support the preparation of quotations, job files, and operational reports where required.Maintain accurate records of departmental activities and shipment information.Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and support the implementation of more efficient workflows.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in live events logistics, freight forwarding, or cargo operations.Strong understanding of the logistics requirements and time-sensitive nature of live events.Experience coordinating complex and time-critical shipments.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
