We develop and own the agents that own the processes. We are small, we move fast, and we are building something the accounting profession has never had before.The RoleYou will work directly with the COO across two sides of the business: the operational side of our product business, and the delivery side of our accounting services work with our portfolio companies. This is a hands on internship. You will not be shadowing anyone or building slides about work someone else does. It suits someone who would rather fix a problem than write a memo about it.What you will doProduct OperationsLearn our agents properly. Within a month you should be able to demo them and answer most client questions without asking for help.Support portfolio companies and clients using our agents, sitting in on onboarding sessions and following up on whatever is left open afterwards.Keep internal documentation, SOPs and training material current as the products change. This will be yours to own.Pull usage and adoption numbers and prepare the fortnightly report. You collect and draft, we review before it goes out.Accounting Services and Portfolio OperationsSit in the workflow between portfolio companies and our offshore team members. Chase what is outstanding, keep trackers current, flag slippage before it becomes a problem.Draft client communication on status and queries for review. Over time you will send it yourself.Prepare month end checklists across accounting, corporate secretarial and fund administration engagements, and follow up on missing items.Help standardise how each portfolio company reports into the group, so the numbers arrive on the same calendar and in the same format.Be a first point of contact for portfolio company finance and administration staff on routine matters, and escalate to the COO when something needs a decision.Write down every step where a person is doing something one of our agents should be doing.What we are looking forPenultimate or final year student, or recent graduate. We are agnostic about your degree so long as you are hands on. Prior internship experience in operations, practice management or client delivery is a plus, not a requirement.Some exposure to accounting workflows helps. We will teach you the rest. No formal qualification needed.Genuinely curious about AI and already using agents in your own work. We will ask what you have tried and what broke.Clear written English. You can write a follow up email that does not need editing, and you do not need to be asked twice.Comfortable with ambiguity. In a company our size the process often does not exist yet, and you may be the one who writes the first version of it.What you getDirect line to the founders and weekly time with the COO.Real ownership of a defined area, not rotating tasks.A front row seat to how AI is rebuilding the accounting profession.Strong performers get a full time offer at the end, with room to grow into Head of Operations as the business scales.Practical detailsDuration: 6 to 12 months, minimum 6 months.Commitment: full time preferred. Part time from 2-3 days a week considered if you are studying in term.
