Prospective team members will join a growing brand that values creativity, reliability, and a strong customer focus.Role Description The Operations Lead is a full-time, on-site role based at Lafayette by Mug Cakes in Bangalore. This role oversees day-to-day café operations, including staff scheduling, floor supervision, coordination between central kitchen and service teams, and ensuring smooth service during peak hours. The Operations Lead monitors quality and hygiene standards, manages inventory and vendor coordination, and supports cash handling and basic reporting. The role also involves training team members, responding to guest feedback, and implementing process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.QualificationsExperience in food & beverage or hospitality operations, preferably in cafés or restaurants.Strong team leadership, people management, and staff training capabilities.Ability to manage inventory, vendors, and basic budgeting or cost control.Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on handling feedback and resolving issues promptly.Good organizational and time management skills to oversee daily shift operations.Comfort with basic POS systems, cash handling, and daily sales reporting.Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and compliance with local regulations.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.Prior supervisory or shift lead experience; diploma or degree in hospitality or related field is a plus.
