The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational effectiveness, as well as developing and leading the operations strategy for the New York Flagship. The role will include managing all aspects of product flow, inventory control, ecommerce fulfillment, policy enforcement, and asset protection. Additionally, you will partner with the wider management team to optimize operational efficiencies across all team members to have a positive impact on sales, customer service & stock management for online and offline.The successful candidate will have previously held a management level position and has experience leading operations functions in a retail (preferably luxury) environment. With extensive people management and development skills, you will be required to act as management advisement/support to the Store Manager and therefore be experienced in providing innovative solutions to business challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Retail OperationsExecute cycle counts on a daily, weekly, monthly basis as neededPerform full inventory quarterly or as determined to best mitigate on hand negatives and overagesAnalyze business trends partnering with senior management to communicate pull back requests, consolidations, and style requestsManage product deliveries, reception, defectives, and overall organization to best impact client experience continuously improving processesEnsure team members are trained and following policy and procedures relating to operationsEcommerce OperationsProduct monitoring and oversight: consignments, transfers, client owned purchases, holds, ensuring policy is followed and maintainedEnsuring proper supply replenishment and on hand level managementManaging completion of daily fulfillment needs and proper communication with clients through strong partnership with customer service and warehouse teamContinuously improving process to mitigate no stocks, delayed shipment and other key performance indicators with a direct impact on the Thom Browne clientSKILLSExcellent organization, administration, excel and computer skills.Previous experience with operations systems is strongly preferred.Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture, develop new ideas and think through creative solutionsProven analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business casesWHAT WE OFFER YOUCompetitive payComprehensive benefits packageCompany uniform + uniform allowance401(k) company matchDiverse and inclusive working environment
