Operations Manager

Green Line Electromechanical L.L.C. is committed to delivering high-quality projects and services in UAE.The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing all operational activities of the MEP contracting business. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while maximizing productivity, profitability, and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities·        Lead and manage the daily operations of multiple MEP projects across the UAE.·        Develop operational strategies to improve efficiency and achieve business objectives.·        Coordinate with Projects Manager, Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement Dept.  Accounts Dept, HR Dept. and other departments.·        Monitor project progress and resolve operational issues promptly.·        Ensure effective allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials.·        Oversee execution of MEP works from mobilization to handover.·        Ensure projects are completed within approved budgets and schedules.·        Monitor project costs, productivity, and resource utilization.·        Review project reports and implement corrective actions where necessary.·        Maintain strong relationships with Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Suppliers etc.·        Attend Client meetings and provide operational support during project execution.·        Handle client concerns professionally to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.·        Monitor project profitability and operational costs.·        Review budgets, cash flow forecasts, and monthly and yearly financial reports.·        Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.·        Support commercial teams in claims, variations, and contractual matters.·        Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, engineers, supervisors, and support staff.·        Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.·        Recruit and retain high-performing operational personnel.·        Coordinate with procurement for timely material and equipment delivery.·        Optimize resource utilization across all active projects.·        Monitor subcontractor performance and productivity.·        Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for senior management.Required Skills·        Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in the construction industry.·        At least 5 years in a operations management role.·        Strong leadership and people management abilities.·        Excellent project planning and execution skills.·        Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction methodologies.·        Strong commercial and financial awareness.·        Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.·        Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.·        Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.·        Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Project Management is an advantage.·        PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.·        Excellent command of English & Arabic (written and spoken)·        Willingness to travel between project sites as required.
