As we establish our business and operational infrastructure in the market, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to play a key role in building and supporting our India operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join NeoLife at an early stage of our growth in India.Location: Noida, India (Delhi NCR)ABOUT THE ROLEThe Operations Manager will serve as a key operational leader for NeoLife India Private Limited, responsible for supporting the setup and day-to-day management of business operations, finance and accounting oversight, compliance, vendor management, and cross-functional execution in-country.The role oversees multiple areas including supply chain and importation, contract manufacturing coordination, distribution and logistics, finance and accounting, human resources, information technology, and collaboration across Operations and Field Development.As NeoLife India operates as a lean, growing entity, the Operations Manager must be a hands-on generalist who can execute tactically while building the systems, processes, and operational discipline required for scalable growth. A strong accounting and financial management background is essential, including direct oversight of accounting controls and monthly close.EXPECTED DIRECT REPORTSAs the India team is established, direct reports may include:Product Supply ManagerDistribution / Logistics SpecialistFinance SpecialistIT SpecialistField Support OfficersESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOperations & Cross-Functional LeadershipServe as a key operational point of contact for NeoLife's in-country functions.Establish operational priorities, KPIs, and accountability aligned with global strategy.Lead and coordinate functional specialists across Operations and Field Development.Build scalable processes and operational infrastructure for a growing direct-selling business.Represent NeoLife India in dealings with vendors, service providers, regulatory authorities, and other external stakeholders.Develop operational capability and talent as the India organization grows.Supply Chain, Importation & Contract ManufacturingOversee the end-to-end product supply chain from international sourcing through in-country distribution.Manage importation activities, including customs clearance, duties, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.Coordinate with contract manufacturers on purchase orders, production planning, and shipment scheduling.Ensure applicable FSSAI registrations, import licences, and documentation remain current and compliant.Monitor inbound shipments and proactively address supply disruptions and continuity risks.Distribution, Logistics & 3PL ManagementOversee 3PL relationships, warehouse operations, picking and packing, and outbound fulfilment.Monitor inventory levels, stock accuracy, cycle counts, and overall inventory integrity.Ensure distributor orders are processed and delivered within expected timelines.Monitor last-mile delivery performance, returns, claims, and 3PL service levels.Finance & Accounting OversightProvide oversight of accounting activities and the in-country finance team.Review journal entries, bank reconciliations, payment runs, sales forecasts, and inventory forecasts.Own the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Oversee GST, TDS, and other statutory financial obligations in coordination with external advisors.Prepare and present monthly financial performance information to global leadership.Manage the India operating budget, cash requirements, actuals versus plan, and variance reporting.Maintain appropriate banking relationships, financial controls, and approval processes.Human ResourcesOversee recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee administration, and performance management for the India entity.Coordinate payroll and statutory requirements, including EPF, gratuity, ESIC where applicable, and TDS.Maintain employee records, leave administration, and HR documentation.Partner with NeoLife's global HR team on policies, compensation, talent practices, and workplace matters.Help foster a positive, professional, and compliant workplace culture.Information Technology & Office SystemsOversee local IT support, office systems, hardware, software, and connectivity.Support business systems including ERP, order management, and distributor platforms.Champion appropriate data security, access management, and IT controls.Support global and regional technology implementations in India.Regulatory & ComplianceSupport compliance with FSSAI and other requirements applicable to NeoLife India's operations.Maintain applicable business registrations, licences, and statutory filings.Monitor regulatory developments affecting product importation, labelling, distribution, and business operations.Coordinate with NeoLife's global regulatory and legal teams on compliance matters.QUALIFICATIONSEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification strongly preferred.7–10 years of progressive operations management experience with meaningful financial and accounting oversight.Experience managing month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance in India.Experience working with contract manufacturers and third-party suppliers.Experience in direct selling, FMCG, health and nutrition, consumer goods, or a related industry.Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams across areas such as supply chain, logistics, finance, or business operations.Preferred experience:Importation, customs clearance, freight forwarding, or customs broker management in India.FSSAI requirements and import compliance for food supplements or nutraceutical products.Start-up, greenfield, or subsidiary operations where processes and infrastructure were built from an early stage.3PL, warehouse, distribution, or supply chain management.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIESStrong financial acumen with the ability to interpret P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow, and financial performance.Working knowledge of Indian GST, TDS, EPF, and related statutory requirements.Familiarity with accounting or ERP platforms such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.Strong leadership and ability to drive results across functions.Decisive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable operating in a lean and evolving environment.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; Hindi proficiency is an advantage.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis is an office-based position located in Noida, India (Delhi NCR). Occasional travel within India may be required for warehouse or 3PL visits, distributor events, government or regulatory matters, and other business needs.
