Operations Manager – Steel FabricationSeraj Steel is hiring an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and continuously improve our overall factory operations.📍 Location: Al Kharj Industrial City, Saudi ArabiaWe are looking for a systems-driven and hands-on Operations Manager who can connect Planning, Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics into one coordinated operation.The objective of this role is simple: improve flow, reduce waste, shorten lead times, and achieve maximum productivity without compromising quality.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the factory.Ensure effective coordination between Planning, Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics.Establish clear operational priorities and ensure all departments are working according to the same production plan.Ensure effective use of the company's ERP system to plan, control, track, and report operations.Monitor the complete production flow from material requirement and purchasing through fabrication, finishing, and dispatch.Identify and resolve bottlenecks affecting production flow and delivery.Continuously work to reduce manufacturing lead time.Identify and eliminate waste, waiting time, unnecessary movement, rework, and inefficient processes.Improve utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and factory space.Monitor operational KPIs and use data to identify areas requiring improvement.Ensure production plans are realistic, properly communicated, and supported by the required materials, manpower, drawings, machinery, and information.Work closely with Production Management to improve shopfloor productivity and workflow.Ensure operational decisions maintain the required quality standards and project specifications.Establish clear processes, responsibilities, and accountability between departments.Lead continuous improvement initiatives across factory operations.Develop corrective action and recovery plans when projects fall behind schedule.What We Are Looking ForProven experience in Operations Management within a manufacturing environment.Strong preference for experience in structural steel fabrication, PEB, heavy fabrication, or similar project-based manufacturing.Strong understanding of production planning and manufacturing workflow.Hands-on experience working with ERP systems.Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, waste reduction, productivity improvement, and continuous improvement principles.Ability to analyze production data and identify bottlenecks and root causes of operational problems.Strong understanding of capacity, manpower utilization, machine utilization, and production flow.Excellent coordination and leadership skills across multiple departments.Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.Ability to build systems and processes rather than relying on constant manual follow-up.We are looking for someone who can see the factory as one complete system — not a collection of separate departments.The successful candidate will be expected to continuously challenge how we operate, identify constraints, improve coordination, eliminate waste, and help Seraj Steel achieve shorter lead times, higher productivity, and consistently high quality.How to ApplyInterested candidates can apply directly through this LinkedIn job post or send their CV by email to:📩 hr@serajsteel.com📩 info@serajsteel.comFor email applications, please use the subject: Operations Manager Application#SerajSteel #OperationsManager #SteelFabrication #StructuralSteel #Manufacturing #OperationalExcellence #LeanManufacturing #ContinuousImprovement #ERP #SaudiArabiaJobs #AlKharj
