Operations Manager – Trade Finance & Loans Operations About the RoleOur client, a leading financial institution in the Dubai, is seeking an Operations Manager – Trade Finance & Loans Operations to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing trade finance and loan operations activities, ensuring operational excellence, adherence to regulatory requirements, and effective risk and control management. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Trade Finance Operations, Loan Administration, and Operational Controls, which will align successfully within the organization.About the RequirementsManage end-to-end Trade Finance Operations, including Import and Export Letters of Credit (LCs), advising and confirmation processes, document checking, discrepancy management, amendments, and settlements.Oversee the processing and administration of Bank Guarantees, including issuance, amendments, counter-guarantees, demand claims, extend-or-pay claims, and guarantee cancellations.Handle Documentary Collections activities, including import and export collections, payment and acceptance transactions, and coordination with customers and correspondent banks.Ensure accurate processing of Bilateral and Syndicated Loan Operations, including drawdowns, rollovers, rate fixing, interest calculations, repayments, fee processing, and payment distributions.Monitor facility agreements, conditions precedent, documentation controls, and loan limit utilization to ensure compliance with approved terms.Review and authorize trade finance and loan-related SWIFT messages, including MT700, MT707, MT760, MT767, MT799, and other relevant message types.Maintain strong operational controls through reconciliations, account investigations, audit support, incident management, and escalation procedures.Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, AML standards, sanctions screening, KYC requirements, and reporting obligations.Act as a key stakeholder in operational risk management and continuous process improvement initiatives.About You (Emirati) candidates only.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Minimum 7-10 years of banking operations experience with strong exposure to both Trade Finance and Loan Operations.Sound knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP, URDG 758, and ISP98.Hands-on experience with SWIFT messaging, trade finance systems, and core banking platforms.Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, reconciliations, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Additional InformationLocation: DubaiEmployment Type: Full-timeBudget: Up to AED 25,000 per monthEmiratization opportunityAbout the RecruiterContact: Vasundhra Gupta – Managing Consultant, Financial ServicesJob Scams NoticeYour Safety and Data Security Matter to Us.Manpower Middle East is committed to a safe and transparent hiring process.
