Role PurposeThe Operations Manager will drive the operational, commercial, and technical presence of the company in India. This role combines business growth, client and market development, procurement, supply chain supervision, and IT systems management to ensure seamless business expansion and operational excellence.⸻3. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Marketing Leadership (Core Focus)• Business Development: Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities for industrial components in local and regional markets.• Market Expansion & Strategy: Drive marketing initiatives, promote the brand portfolio, and analyze industrial market trends to position product offerings effectively.• Key Account & Client Relations: Manage relationships with key accounts, oversee client inquiries, handle commercial proposals, and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.• Sales Operations: Align sales goals with production and sourcing capabilities to ensure timely order fulfillment and revenue growth.Procurement & Sourcing Supervision• Procurement Strategy: Lead local purchasing strategy, identify manufacturing partners, and negotiate competitive pricing for industrial components across Gujarat.• Supplier Management: Audit, onboard, and evaluate supplier performance regarding pricing, lead times, production capacity, and reliability.• Commercial Negotiation: Structure purchase agreements, secure favorable terms, and protect operational margins.IT & Systems Supervision• Digital Tools & Systems: Oversee the implementation and daily operation of business systems (ERP/CRM, inventory management, digital component catalogs).• Infrastructure & Equipment: Ensure the maintenance, security, and management of local IT hardware, networks, internet connectivity, and data security.• IT Coordination: Act as the primary local contact to align local IT systems with global corporate platforms.Quality Control & Logistics• Oversee quality assurance protocols, including on-site inspection, international standard compliance, and non-conformity resolutions.• Coordinate local supply chain operations, including warehousing, packaging, customs clearance, and export logistics.Management & Site Leadership• Lead and develop the local team (sales specialists, quality engineers, junior buyers, IT support, logistics staff).• Handle administrative management, budget tracking, and smooth daily operations at the Rajkot office.⸻4. Requirements & QualificationsEducation & Experience• Education: B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering) or MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Supply Chain.• Experience: 8 to 12 years in industrial manufacturing, industrial components, or engineering services, including:• Proven track record in B2B industrial sales, marketing, and business development.• Solid background in industrial procurement and vendor negotiation.• Hands-on familiarity with CRM/ERP software and IT management system workflows.• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in team management or branch leadership.• Experience in managing an online sales platform or e-commerce website would be highly appreciated.• Familiarity with online product catalogues, customer inquiries, order management, digital marketing, and e-commerce sales processes would be considered a strong advantage.⸻Key Skills (Must-have)• Strong commercial acumen, sales negotiation, and client relationship management skills.• Deep knowledge of industrial purchasing, export logistics, and local manufacturing ecosystems in Gujarat.• Proficiency in managing IT systems, ERP/CRM platforms, and digital catalogs.• Agility, Initiative & Problem-Solving: Highly responsive and proactive, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to identify opportunities, develop creative solutions, take initiative, and effectively resolve operational and business challenges. Resourcefulness and adaptability are essential for driving the company’s growth and managing day-to-day situations independently.• Languages: Full professional proficiency in English (daily reporting to international management); fluency in Gujarati and Hindi for local business and factory operations.
