As the business continues to grow, this role will ensure operational activities remain scalable, efficient and aligned with strategic objectives.Role OverviewAs Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of Chartis's operational functions. You will provide operational leadership and hands-on support across research production, client success, sales operations, finance support, project management and team leadership.You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that internal support functions operate efficiently, key deliverables are achieved on schedule and business processes are continuously improved. Working closely with the Managing Director and senior stakeholders, you will act as a central operational point of coordination across multiple functions.The role requires a proactive and highly organised professional who is comfortable managing a broad range of responsibilities while leading a geographically dispersed team and driving operational excellence across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting, Publishing & Research DeliveryOversee research production schedules, ensuring key milestones are tracked and delivered on timeManage end-to-end publication workflows, coordinating with analyst, editorial and design teamsEnsure research outputs are delivered efficiently, accurately and to consistently high quality standardsIdentify and resolve workflow bottlenecks that may impact delivery schedulesMaintain the company's research archive, ensuring records are securely retained and accessible when requiredTeam, Client & Vendor OperationsOversee onboarding processes for new employees, clients and vendorsCoordinate operational handovers and ensure a seamless onboarding experienceManage relationships with operational vendors and service providersSupport the client success function to maintain high standards of service delivery and customer satisfactionFinance, Accounting & Executive SupportPrepare and review operational and financial reports to support business decision-makingManage invoice approval workflows and support finance administration activitiesProvide day-to-day operational support to the Managing DirectorAct as a key point of contact for operational matters across the businessSales OperationsSupport CRM administration, data integrity and sales process managementProduce sales pipeline reporting and performance analysisPartner with commercial teams to improve reporting processes and operational efficiencyHelp optimise sales workflows and support effective revenue operationsPeople ManagementManage, coach and develop a team of direct reports located across multiple locationsSet measurable objectives and key performance indicatorsConduct regular performance reviews, one-to-one meetings and development discussionsOversee workload allocation, resource planning and team prioritisationPromote collaboration and effective communication across teams and time zonesProcess Improvement & Operational ExcellenceEnsure operational support functions run efficiently and effectivelyIdentify, investigate and resolve operational issues proactivelyReview, document and improve operational processes and workflowsDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and scalabilityLeverage technology and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and support business objectivesRequirementsEssential ExperiencePrevious experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar operational leadership positionDemonstrable experience managing operational processes across multiple business functionsExperience supporting reporting, project management, sales operations and business administration activitiesStrong proficiency in Salesforce, Power BI, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordExperience using AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude or similar platformsStrong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with senior stakeholders, clients and cross-functional teamsStrong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetHighly DesirableExperience within a research, advisory, publishing, information services or media organisationPrevious experience managing geographically dispersed teamsProficiency with HubSpot and additional CRM or business intelligence platformsExperience supporting business growth through process optimisation and operational transformationKnowledge of financial services, risk management or technology marketsProject management qualifications or equivalent practical experienceBenefitsGenerous Annual Leave - 25 days, rising to 30Your birthday off - on usGroup Personal Pension PlanAnnual Retirement Planning AdviceMortgage AdviceLife AssuranceInterest-free Season Ticket Loan24/7/365 Employee Assistance Programme, including counsellingRetail and Gym DiscountsEyecare VouchersCycle to Work SchemeHoliday Buying SchemeHealth Cash PlanEmployee Referral SchemeEnhanced Family-Friendly LeaveDedicated Menopause Policy with a culture of open, inclusive supportWellbeing Tools and ResourcesAbout Infopro DigitalInfopro Digital is a B2B group specialising in information and technology.
