Operations Manager

Company: The Global Recycling GroupCompany Website: www.globalrecycling.inDesignation: Manager – OperationsExperience: 3–5 years Location: Gurgaon Reports to: CEO About the RoleThe Global Recycling Group is looking for someone to manage the back-end operations of its newest and fast growing subsidiary The role will cover will be an operational management role revolving around accounts, logistics, import/export documentation, production and MIS.Initially, the person will work closely with the existing teams and handle the work directly. As the company grows, the person will be expected to build teams for each function and take overall responsibility for operations.The long-term goal is for this person to grow into a COO / Head of Operations role.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & FinanceManage day-to-day accounts activities.Track receivables, payables and payments.Manage vendor and customer reconciliations.Coordinate with accountants, auditors and tax consultants.Track cash flow and working capital.Prepare regular MIS and reports for management.Check for errors and gaps in financial processes.Logistics & Import/ExportManage domestic and international logistics.Handle import/export documentation.Coordinate with CHAs, freight forwarders, transporters and shipping agents.Track shipments and deliveries.Ensure all documents are complete and submitted on time.Track logistics costs.Production & InventoryTrack raw material, production, finished goods and dispatches.Track production quantities, recovery, wastage and losses.Maintain production and inventory reports.Develop systems to track production and profitability.MIS & ProcessesPrepare regular reports and dashboards for management.Set up systems to track the company's key activities.Create SOPs and checklists where required.Improve existing processes.Make sure information flows properly between accounts, procurement, logistics, production and sales.Automate routine work where possible.What We Are Looking For3–5 years of work experience.Good experience in accounts and finance.Experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.Knowledge of import/export and logistics will be an advantage.Should be willing to work across different functions.Should be comfortable working in a growing company where processes are still being built.Should be able to work independently and take ownership of tasks.Preferred Experience in Logistics, Waste Management, Retail, Warehousing, Green Tech, Finance Career GrowthThe person will initially manage and coordinate multiple back-end functions.As the company grows, the expectation is that the person will build teams under them and take responsibility for the entire back-end operation.Operations Manager → Head of Operations → COOThis is a long-term role for someone who wants to grow with the company and take on increasing responsibility.
