In that time we've grown from a standing start to hundreds of installations a year across Munster, and we've done it by being straight with customers and doing the job properly.As we continue to scale, we are looking for a highly organised, proactive Operations Manager to bridge the gap between sales and installation. This role is a hybrid position split between working from home and our Cork office.Core MissionYou will assist management and the sales team with the day-to-day running of our solar installation pipeline, ensuring projects move smoothly from initial sale to successful completion.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical Review Create solar panel roof designs, review sales and site survey information to finalise precise installation specifications.Customer & Team Liaison Contact customers and collaborate with the sales team to confirm final installation details, acting as the customer's point of contact through the delivery phase.Scheduling & Allocation Schedule all upcoming installations weeks in advance and assign the correct team members to each project.Daily Problem-solving Troubleshoot and solve real-time problems that arise for team members during active installations, rescheduling dates as needed.Inventory & Procurement Review current stock levels, place orders, and look ahead at upcoming pipelines to preorder specific project requirements.Process & Improvement As the business grows, you will help put proper systems and records behind all company actions.Trouble shooting Manage initial service call requests and technical queries from customers.Health & Safety Act as Health and Safety Officer for the company.Role Requirements
Solar or construction industry experience is a major plus.Comfortable working with spreadsheets, scheduling, tools and stock management systems, and quick to pick up new software.Confident learning solar design software (or existing experience with tools such as Aurora, PV*SOL, OpenSolar or similar).Full clean driving licence and willingness to visit sites when a design or a problem needs eyes on it.Preferred SkillsHighly organised with excellent time-management skills, with a strong ability to multi taskNatural problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, reactive startup environment.
