Operations Manager – Freight ForwardingDubai, UAE | Full-Time | On-SiteAbout Rapidus LogisticsRapidus Logistics FZCO is a Dubai-based freight forwarding company focused on fast, reliable and controlled logistics solutions.Based in Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA), we specialize in air freight and time-critical shipments, with a strong focus on communication, operational discipline and shipment visibility.We are now looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our growing team and take ownership of our day-to-day freight operations.The RoleThis is a hands-on management position. You will be responsible for leading the operations team while remaining closely involved in shipment execution.Key responsibilities include:

• Manage day-to-day air, sea and land freight operations
• Oversee import, export, cross-trade and time-critical shipments
• Coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, overseas agents, transporters and service providers
• Monitor shipments from booking through final delivery and ensure proactive customer updates
• Review operational costs, supplier rates and job profitability
• Ensure shipment documentation is complete and accurate
• Coordinate customs clearance and UAE import/export requirements
• Manage operational issues, delays and exceptions before they escalate
• Maintain high standards of customer service, accuracy and response timeWhat We're Looking For
• Strong freight forwarding operations experience in the UAE
• Proven experience in air freight operations is essential
• Proven experience in Dubai Airport Freezone is a must
• Good knowledge of import/export procedures, customs and freight documentation
• Experience managing or supervising an operations team
• Strong relationships with carriers, agents and logistics service providers are an advantage
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Experience with freight/logistics systems and Microsoft Office
