With 12 locations across the UAE and continued international expansion, Roasters provides a contemporary café experience focused on quality, hospitality, and meaningful connections.Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hong Kong SAR, responsible for overseeing daily café operations to ensure an excellent guest experience and efficient service. This role manages staff scheduling, training, and performance, maintains operational standards, and ensures adherence to health, safety, and quality guidelines. The Operations Manager monitors inventory and supply levels, coordinates with suppliers, and supports cost control and budgeting. They analyze sales and customer feedback, implement process improvements, and work closely with leadership to support brand standards, marketing initiatives, and future growth.Qualifications Experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality operations management, including team leadership and day-to-day floor supervision.Skills in staff training, performance management, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.Competence in inventory control, supplier coordination, and basic budgeting or cost management.Strong customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills in a fast-paced setting.Ability to implement and maintain health, safety, and quality standards consistently.Comfort with using POS systems, basic office software, and operational reporting tools.Background in specialty coffee or premium hospitality is highly beneficial; barista or café experience is an advantage.Relevant diploma or degree in hospitality, business management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by café operations.
