Operations Manager

We are conducting a search on behalf of an established scaffolding and industrial services company in the UAE for an experienced Operations Manager to lead its Dubai/UAE operations, with responsibility for operational delivery, workforce management, scaffolding assets, logistics and commercial performance.Role Overview:This is a senior, hands-on operational leadership role responsible for the complete scaffolding operations cycle — from yard and inventory management through dispatch, site execution, installation, rental returns and redeployment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day scaffolding operations across Dubai and the UAEOversee scaffolding material, inventory and asset control, including stock reconciliation and loss preventionManage project mobilization, installation, dismantling, dispatch, collection and material returnsEnsure effective utilization of manpower, scaffolding materials, transport and equipmentMonitor productivity, operational costs and resource utilization to protect commercial marginsOversee yard operations, workforce transportation, logistics and accommodation requirementsMaintain strong client relationships and ensure operational commitments are delivered on timeDrive HSE, quality, operational discipline and compliance across yard and project sitesEstablish operational KPIs and continuously improve productivity, inventory accuracy and operational efficiencyQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations, Logistics or a related discipline preferred10+ years’ relevant operational experience, including significant management responsibilityStrong background within scaffolding, construction, equipment rental, industrial services or access solutionsExperience within the UAE/GCC construction, Oil & Gas, industrial services or scaffolding sector is strongly preferredProven experience managing a large workforce, ideally 100+ personnelStrong practical knowledge of scaffolding materials, rental operations, installation and dismantlingStrong experience in yard, inventory, asset control and logistics managementCommercial understanding of rates, costs, productivity, utilization and margin protectionStrong leadership, problem-solving and client-management skillsExcellent English communication skills; Arabic is advantageous
