Operations Manager (Service & Repair) -- Roanoke, VALunova Group is partnering with a well-established service organization to find an Operations Manager to lead its Service & Repair operations across Western Virginia.This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a large, established service operation and a dedicated repair team. We’re looking for someone who knows how to lead people, manage a fast-moving field operation, solve problems, and keep customers and teams moving in the right direction.Industry experience is not required. We’re especially interested in operations leaders from HVAC, fire protection, mechanical services, construction, building services, facilities, or other field-service environments where safety, scheduling, customer service, and operational execution are critical.What You’ll DoLead the day-to-day operations of a Service & Repair team across Western Virginia.Manage and support field leadership and technicians, including performance, training, development, and accountability.Oversee service routes and a dedicated repair operation.Spend meaningful time in the field with technicians and customers to understand challenges firsthand and ensure work is being completed safely and effectively.Manage scheduling, manpower, route performance, callbacks, service issues, and other day-to-day operational challenges.Partner closely with sales and branch leadership to address customer needs and support repair opportunities.Review operational and financial performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and employee performance.Help resolve escalated customer and operational issues in a timely, practical way.Build a culture of accountability while supporting a team working in a demanding, service-driven environment.What We’re Looking ForProven experience leading field-based operations, service teams, or a similar workforce.Experience managing multiple crews, routes, projects, or service territories simultaneously.A leader who is comfortable operating in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.Strong people-management skills with the ability to coach, hold teams accountable, and make difficult decisions when necessary.Ability to balance customer needs, employee needs, safety, quality, and business performance.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay organized when managing multiple issues at once.Comfortable getting out from behind the desk and spending time with employees and customers in the field.Experience within elevators is a plus, but absolutely not required.Backgrounds in HVAC, fire protection, mechanical contracting, general contracting, construction, facilities, equipment service, or similar industries are encouraged to apply.Why Join the Team?This is an opportunity to take ownership of a significant, established operation while joining a stable industry with long-term demand.
