Operations Manager

Position OverviewWe are looking for a Regional Operations Manager to drive business operations and market growth in the Korean market.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in exchange or trading platform operations, a strong understanding of the Korean market, and excellent communication skills in Korean and English. Chinese proficiency is highly preferred.This role will be responsible for developing and executing localized operational strategies, driving user growth and engagement, coordinating campaigns and local initiatives, and working closely with global teams to strengthen the company's presence in the Korean market.Key Responsibilities1. Korea Market OperationsDevelop and execute localized operational strategies for the Korean market based on market trends, user needs, and business objectives.Manage day-to-day market operations and coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure smooth execution.Monitor market performance, user behavior, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.Continuously optimize local operating processes and improve overall user experience.2. User Growth & EngagementDevelop and execute user acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and reactivation strategies for the Korean market.Analyze user behavior and operational data to identify opportunities for improving user engagement and business performance.Develop localized user programs and engagement initiatives tailored to the Korean market.Work closely with global growth and operations teams to adapt global strategies to local market needs.3. Campaign & Event OperationsPlan and execute localized campaigns, promotional programs, community initiatives, and online/offline events.Work with Marketing, Business Development, Product, and other teams to ensure effective campaign execution.Manage campaign performance tracking, data analysis, and post-campaign optimization.Build relationships with relevant local partners, communities, KOLs, and other ecosystem resources where appropriate.4. Product & Business OperationsWork closely with Product and Business teams to identify local market requirements and opportunities.Gather user feedback and translate local market insights into actionable product and operational improvements.Support the launch and adoption of new products, features, and services in the Korean market.Ensure local operational initiatives are aligned with global product and business strategies.5. Market Insights & Performance ManagementTrack key market and operational metrics, including user growth, activation, engagement, retention, and campaign performance.Conduct regular market and competitor analysis and provide actionable recommendations.Prepare regular business reviews and operational reports for management.Use data-driven insights to continuously improve market performance.6. Cross-functional CollaborationCollaborate closely with global Operations, Growth, Marketing, Product, Business Development, Compliance, and Customer Support teams.Coordinate resources across multiple functions and ensure effective execution of regional initiatives.Act as a key point of contact between global teams and the Korean market.Requirements3–6+ years of experience in regional operations, user operations, growth, marketing operations, or business operations.Hands-on experience in a cryptocurrency exchange, trading platform, fintech, brokerage, or other financial technology company is strongly preferred.Strong understanding of the Korean market, including local user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape.Proven experience in user operations, growth, campaign operations, or market operations.Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn market insights into actionable strategies.Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.Native or business-fluent Korean and fluent English are required.Chinese proficiency is highly preferred.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Willingness to travel when required.Preferred QualificationsExperience working directly on Korea market operations for a major exchange or trading platform.Existing relationships with Korean financial, technology, media, community, or industry partners.Experience working with global teams across different markets and time zones.Experience in launching localized products, campaigns, or market expansion initiatives.Strong understanding of trading products, financial markets, and digital asset industry trends.
