With a growing footprint and high operational demand, the business relies on strong coordination, efficient resource planning, and consistent service quality across all locations.Opportunity:The organisation is seeking a highly capable and structured Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operational delivery across its cleaning service contracts. This role is central to ensuring high service standards, maintaining strong client relationships, and improving the efficiency of workforce planning and payroll administration.The successful candidate will bring hands-on operational leadership experience, strong familiarity with workforce management systems (Timegate or equivalent), and the ability to manage busy teams across multiple sites. Responsibilities

Oversee daily cleaning and industrial cleaning operations across multiple client sites, ensuring contractual obligations and quality standards are consistently met.Manage specialist cleaning activities including power washing, pressure washing, builders cleans, deep cleans, industrial cleaning projects and other commercial cleaning services.Coordinate workflows, resource allocation, equipment deployment and service delivery to maintain a safe, efficient and reliable operation.Lead and support site supervisors and cleaning teams, ensuring engagement, performance, accountability and clear communication across all sites.Provide coaching, training, operational guidance and problem resolution to frontline teams.Use Timegate or similar workforce management systems to schedule shifts, track attendance, manage staffing requirements and support payroll administration.Oversee time and attendance records, ensuring accuracy of payroll data and alignment with HR and payroll processes.Conduct regular site visits, inspections, quality audits and signoffs to verify work completion, service quality, labour utilisation and team attendance, ensuring resources are deployed efficiently and works are completed within agreed timeframes.Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, Safe Pass requirements, RAMS, client procedures and company policies.Review, implement and monitor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for operational activities.Support the training and development of operatives on specialist cleaning equipment, power washing systems, safe working practices and operational procedures.Act as the primary operational point of contact for clients, addressing issues, resolving complaints and maintaining strong working relationships.Support the mobilisation of new contracts, including site assessments, staffing, equipment allocation, operational setup and service implementation.Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, site managers and client representatives to ensure smooth project delivery.Analyse operational data, KPIs, labour utilisation and service performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.Implement corrective actions and operational improvements to enhance service quality, productivity and profitability.Anticipate operational challenges and respond quickly to maintain continuity of service and minimise disruption.Ensure efficient scheduling of labour and resources to avoid unnecessary costs while maintaining service delivery standards.Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, safety and continuous improvement across all teams.Candidate Requirements:Proven experience managing industrial cleaning operations, specialist commercial cleaning services or multi-site cleaning contracts.Experience overseeing power washing, pressure washing, builders cleans, industrial cleaning projects or other specialist cleaning activities.Strong understanding of Health & Safety compliance within industrial, construction or commercial environments.Experience working with RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and ensuring teams operate in accordance with site safety requirements.Safe Pass certification preferred. Candidates without a current Safe Pass must be willing and able to obtain certification immediately upon appointment.Experience managing multiple sites, teams, subcontractors or operatives across different client locations.Hands-on understanding of industrial cleaning equipment, power washing systems and specialist cleaning methods, with the ability to effectively supervise and support teams carrying out industrial cleaning works.Experience conducting site inspections, quality audits, work verification and sign-off procedures.Strong leadership capability with experience managing supervisors and frontline teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reporting, and KPI monitoring.Strong working knowledge of Timegate or similar workforce management systems for scheduling, attendance management, payroll input and workforce planning.Good understanding of payroll processes and time-and-attendance administration.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, contractors and operational teams.Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly between multiple client sites across Dublin and surrounding areas.Remuneration:The role offers a base salary in the range of €55,000- €60,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a company vehicle, fuel card, pension contributions, and an annual Christmas bonus.
