This role oversees day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring efficient front-of-house and back-of-house activities, consistent service standards, and a smooth guest experience. Responsibilities include managing departmental performance, monitoring operational procedures, coordinating with housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance teams, and supporting staff scheduling and resource allocation. The Operations Manager analyzes occupancy and revenue trends, assists with budgeting and cost control, and helps implement brand and safety standards. This role also focuses on staff coaching, resolving guest issues, maintaining compliance with company policies, and collaborating with leadership to drive operational improvements and guest satisfaction.Qualifications Operations and leadership skills: Experience in hotel or hospitality operations, team supervision, and cross-functional coordination.Customer service and guest relations skills: Ability to manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high service standards.Organizational and time management skills: Proven capability to handle multiple priorities, oversee daily workflows, and meet operational deadlines.Financial and analytical skills: Familiarity with budgeting, cost control, revenue metrics, and performance reporting.Communication and interpersonal skills: Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.Compliance and safety awareness: Knowledge of hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.Relevant experience: Previous management experience in hospitality or a related service industry; experience with branded hotel operations is an asset.Education and technical skills: Post-secondary education in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred; proficiency with hotel management systems and standard office software.
