Operations Manager

Operations ManagerOur client is looking for an Operations Manager – Logistics to manage commercial post-fixture activities and oversee vessel and port operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage post-fixture operations and voyage execution.- Oversee vessel movements and port activities.- Coordinate with vessels, charterers, shippers, receivers and agents.- Handle shipping documentation including SOFs, Bills of Lading, LOIs and Draft Surveys.- Manage laytime calculations, demurrage and other commercial matters.- Resolve operational issues and ensure voyages run efficiently and on schedule.

Requirements

• 5+ years' commercial post-fixture experience within a ship owner/operator.- Experience handling fertiliser products is required.- Strong knowledge of laytime, charter parties and shipping documentation.- Commercially minded with strong communication and negotiation skills.- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
