We source from overseas factories and ship to major off-price and department store retailers.Role overviewThe Operations Manager owns the flow of product from factory to customer across both divisions. The role keeps production, freight, warehouse, and billing on schedule and accurate, and turns daily operating data into decisions for leadership.Key responsibilitiesProduction and order managementMaintain the production list and track each PO from order placement through factory ship dateFlag SKUs at risk of missing ship dates and drive recovery plans with production and factoriesRun weekly open order (OO) reports, separating confirmed POs from commitmentsReconcile customer commitments and unit takes against available-to-sell (ATS) inventoryLogistics and freightCoordinate ocean and domestic freight with forwarders and carriersVerify freight billing against PO statements and proofs of delivery before paymentManage inbound scheduling, customs documentation, and delivery appointmentsMonitor carrier performance and negotiate ratesInventory and warehouseOversee 3PL/warehouse operations, receiving accuracy, and WMS data integrityProduce weekly inventory aging reports and recommend actions on aged stockEnsure retailer routing guides, labeling, and compliance requirements are met to avoid chargebacksFinance supportRun three-way match on factory invoices against POs and receiptsSupport payment requests and batch payments with financeTrack and dispute customer chargebacks and deductionsTeam and processLead and develop the logistics and operations teamBuild SOPs and automate recurring reports and workflowsAct as the main operations contact for sales, production, finance, and key customersQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field, or equivalent experience5+ years in apparel or consumer goods operations, including 2+ years managing peopleHands-on experience with import logistics: ocean freight, customs, forwardersWorking knowledge of retailer compliance, routing guides, and EDIAdvanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)PreferredExperience with off-price retailersExperience with Asian factory sourcing and production calendarsFamiliarity with apparel ERP/WMS systemsBilingual English/Korean or English/MandarinSkills and toolsStrong attention to detail on invoices, freight bills, and inventory countsClear, fast communication with factories, forwarders, and buyersAbility to prioritize across two divisions and many open POsComfortable with Excel, Google Workspace, WMS/ERP systems, and EDI portalsInterest in automating manual reporting (AI tools, scripts, or macros a plus)
