About 79th East79th East Private Limited is a Hyderabad-based investment services firm, an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-364145) and distributor of Portfolio Management Services (PMS Registration No. APRN10260).The RoleOwn the end-to-end operations and trading-floor function across Mutual Funds, PMS and Equity, from client onboarding and account opening through transaction processing, reconciliation, compliance, reporting and closure. Lead Operations Executives and coordinate Dealers, with ownership of accuracy, TATs, controls, escalations and floor discipline.Key Responsibilities

• Manage MF, PMS and Equity operations, including client onboarding, resident and NRI/NRO/OCI processes, KYC, FATCA/CRS, demat account opening, transactions, confirmations, reconciliation, records and closure.
• Own purchases, redemptions, switches, SIP/STP/SWP, PMS transactions and equity-related operational processes through completion, including PMS processes involving the ₹50 lakh minimum investment.
• Coordinate with AMCs, CAMS, KFintech, PMS providers, custodians, broking companies and ecosystem stakeholders including BSE, NSE and AMFI.
• Manage NRI operations and NRE/NRO/OCI-related account and investment processes with appropriate compliance coordination.
• Coordinate and supervise Dealers and Operations Executives; oversee accurate and timely order placement, ensuring the correct client, security, quantity, price and order type are entered as authorised. Monitor order errors, mismatches, pending orders, confirmations and execution issues, and ensure timely resolution while maintaining proper records, TATs, quality controls and day-to-day floor discipline.
• Own rejections, transaction failures, reconciliation breaks, delays, mismatches and client escalations through closure.
• Ensure compliance with AMFI, SEBI, APMI, KYC and AML requirements and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Build SOPs, checklists and MIS; report operational exceptions, TATs, rejections and team performance to leadership.What You Must Bring
• NISM Series II-B (RTA – Mutual Fund) — Mandatory.
• 5+ years in MF/PMS/Equity Operations, preferably with an AMC, MFD, wealth management firm, broking company or financial-services organisation.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end onboarding, demat opening, NRI operations, reconciliations, escalations and operational controls.
• Strong knowledge of CAMS, KFintech, BSE Star MF, MF Utilities, PMS, demat and transaction/broking platforms.
• Working knowledge of BSE, NSE and AMFI-related coordination and operational requirements.
• Strong team-monitoring, team-coordination and floor-management capability, including supervision of Dealers and Operations Executives.
• Strong Excel, MIS and documentation skills, with the ability to build and improve processes and controls.
• Proficiency in Claude AI and other AI productivity tools for SOP creation, documentation, MIS analysis, reporting and workflow improvement, with strong awareness of data confidentiality.
• Graduate; Commerce/Finance preferred. Hyderabad locals preferred.
