Operations Manager

About ShakkrShakkr is a premium sweets brand focused on delivering high-quality Indian sweets and gifting experiences with a strong emphasis on product quality, presentation, consistency, and customer experience.We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth, efficient, and consistent functioning across our outlets and operational functions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the end-to-end operations of Shakkr outlets and ensure smooth daily functioning.Drive operational excellence across production, retail, sales, customer service, inventory, and store operations.Ensure consistent adherence to SOPs, quality standards, hygiene, food safety, and operational processes.Monitor outlet performance, sales, productivity, wastage, manpower, and operational costs.Work closely with the Kitchen/Production, Procurement, Finance, HR, and Sales teams to ensure seamless operations.Manage manpower planning, deployment, productivity, and staffing requirements across locations.Ensure adequate availability of products, packaging materials, and other operational requirements.Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, wastage, and discrepancies and implement corrective measures.Identify operational gaps and implement processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer experience.Conduct regular outlet visits and audits to ensure compliance with company standards.Handle operational issues and customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.Support new outlet openings, including manpower planning, operational setup, SOP implementation, vendor coordination, and launch readiness.Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of operational requirements.Analyse operational reports and prepare regular updates on sales, costs, inventory, manpower, and outlet performance.Ensure compliance with applicable food safety, hygiene, statutory, and company policies.Train and mentor outlet teams and build a strong operations culture.Drive initiatives to improve profitability while maintaining the brand's premium positioning.What We're Looking For5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within a premium sweets, mithai, confectionery, bakery, premium food retail, or similar F&B brand.Prior experience with a premium sweets/mithai brand is required.Strong understanding of retail/store operations and food production processes.Experience managing multiple outlets/locations and large operational teams.Strong knowledge of inventory management, wastage control, manpower planning, and cost management.Excellent understanding of customer service and premium retail experience.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication, coordination, and people-management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing business environment.Strong analytical and reporting skills.Willingness to travel between outlets as required.What You’ll OwnEnd-to-end operational performance of Shakkr outlets.Outlet productivity, service standards, and customer experience.Manpower planning and team performance.Inventory, wastage, and operational cost control.SOP implementation and operational discipline.New outlet setup and operational readiness.Cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless business operations.What Success Looks LikeSmooth and consistent operations across all Shakkr locations.High standards of product quality, hygiene, presentation, and customer service.Improved manpower productivity and operational efficiency.Effective control over inventory, wastage, and operating costs.Strong compliance with SOPs and operational standards.Successful and timely launch of new outlets.Consistent delivery of a premium Shakkr customer experience.Ideal Candidate: An operations professional who understands the nuances of premium sweets/mithai retail, can manage people and processes effectively, and has the ability to build scalable operational systems for a growing premium brand.
