Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. This role oversees daily operational activities across showrooms, warehouses, and workshop spaces to ensure efficient processes, accurate inventory management, and timely order fulfillment. The Operations Manager coordinates with sales, logistics, and production teams, monitors workflow and resource allocation, and implements process improvements to support a premium client experience. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing schedules, maintaining operational standards, tracking KPIs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. The role also involves collaborating with leadership on strategic planning, supporting new initiatives, and contributing to a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in operations management, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or design-related environments.Strong skills in process optimization, workflow planning, and inventory control.Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams while fostering a collaborative and respectful workplace.Proficiency with operational and productivity tools (e.g., ERP or inventory systems, spreadsheets, task management software).Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments.Comfort working on-site in showroom and warehouse environments, with attention to safety and quality standards.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in high-end or luxury products, construction materials, or wood flooring is a plus.Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and support a family-owned, client-centric company culture.
