Clients are guided through key milestones by a dedicated team backed by over 50 years of service in North Texas.Role Overview:We’re looking for an operations professional to manage and support the back-office functions behind our advisors and clients. This full-time, on-site role oversees day-to-day firm operations while staying hands-on with transaction processing, ensuring efficient workflows, accurate client account processing, and compliance with internal procedures and industry regulations. The Operations Manager will help build the infrastructure, processes, and team needed to support our continued growth toward $3 billion in AUM, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and client service.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management: Oversee daily operations and workflow; build efficient, scalable processes; identify gaps and improvement opportunities; and develop policies, procedures, internal controls, and quality-control standards that support the growth of the practice.Account Services and Transaction Processing: Oversee and process account openings, maintenance, registrations, transfers, and closures, as well as deposits, withdrawals, and account updates, with timely, accurate turnaround on client requests.Trading and Money Movement: Ensure prompt trade processing, reconciliation, and settlement; implement advisors’ investment instructions accurately; and monitor wires, journals, and cash movements.Advisor Support and Client Onboarding: Coordinate scheduling, support advisors with documentation and follow-up, and help onboard new clients smoothly and accurately.Custodian, Vendor, and Client Support: Manage relationships with third-party custodians and operational vendors, resolve complex operational issues for advisors and clients, and provide responsive, communicative client service.Compliance and Documentation: Partner with compliance to keep processes aligned with regulatory requirements; maintain complete, accurate records; support audits and exams; flag discrepancies; and manage implementation of firm-wide and regulatory changes.Data Integrity and Reporting: Monitor the accuracy of client and account data across systems, and prepare and review operational reports for firm management and advisors.Metrics and Performance Tracking: Track, measure, and report on client retention metrics, team capacity metrics, and operational efficiency and productivity metrics, using the results to identify trends, inform staffing and resource decisions, and drive continuous improvement.Technology and Systems: Oversee operational use of Salesforce and ClientWorks, pursue automation opportunities, and manage or support system implementations and upgrades.Team Management: Mentor and manage operations staff; set clear expectations and accountability; and foster a culture of accuracy, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the central point of contact between firm management, advisors, and operations, translating firm objectives into operational priorities and collaborating across the firm to enhance the client experience.

Qualifications

Operations Management: Proven skills in process improvement, workflow optimization, and quality control within a professional services or financial firm; experience managing or developing a team is a plus.Organization and Attention to Detail: Strong time management, task prioritization, and precision in documentation and record-keeping.Technology: Comfort with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), custodial and portfolio or financial planning tools (ClientWorks a plus), and Microsoft Office.Communication and Client Service: Clear written and verbal communication, professional phone and email etiquette, and the ability to collaborate with advisors, clients, custodians, and other stakeholders.Industry Knowledge: Wealth management or financial advisory industry experience required; experience with LPL Financial preferred. Understanding of financial services operations and regulatory requirements in a FINRA/SIPC environment.Judgment and Professionalism: Ability to work on-site in a team environment, exercise sound judgment, handle confidential information, and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Certifications or coursework in operations, compliance, or financial services are a plus.Securities and advisory services offered through LPL Financial, a Registered Investment Advisor, member FINRA/SIPC.
