This role oversees day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring consistent delivery of quality food, excellent Customer service, and adherence to company standards. The Operations Manager manages staffing levels, supervises and coaches Associates, and supports hiring, training, and performance feedback to build effective teams. Responsibilities include monitoring sales and operating costs, supporting inventory control and cash handling procedures, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment. The Operations Manager collaborates with leadership to execute operational initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and uphold Waffle House’s culture and mission.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, including scheduling, shift management, and daily store supervision.People leadership skills, such as team coaching, performance management, conflict resolution, and building an inclusive, respectful workplace.Strong Customer service focus, with the ability to handle guest concerns, maintain service standards, and create a welcoming environment.Operational and financial acumen, including basic budgeting, cost control, cash handling oversight, and understanding of key performance metrics.Organizational and problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks, respond to operational issues, and support continuous improvement.Ability to work on-site in Smyrna, GA, with flexibility for early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with Associates, Customers, and leadership.Previous management experience in food service or a related field is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education is a plus.
