Company: Orbit International Survey Services LLC (Orbit ISS)Location: United Arab EmiratesIndustry: Oil & Gas | Engineering | Inspection | Surveying | Marine | Industrial ServicesExperience: Minimum 10 YearsUAE Driving License: MandatoryAbout the RoleOrbit International Survey Services LLC (Orbit ISS) is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage and coordinate field and project operations across engineering, surveying, inspection, metrology, and industrial services.The role requires strong experience in manpower and equipment planning, crew mobilization, logistics, field deployment, site supervision, resource optimization, and multidisciplinary team coordination, with the ability to manage multiple projects and operational requirements.Experience with major Oil & Gas clients such as ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, ADMA, BP, Shell, or ONGC will be highly preferred.Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations across multiple projects and field locations.

Plan and optimize manpower, equipment, vehicles, logistics, and operational resources. Coordinate crew mobilization, field deployment, transportation, site requirements, and demobilization for onshore and offshore projects. Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, QA/QC teams, field personnel, clients, vendors, subcontractors, procurement, and commercial teams. Manage the deployment and utilization of surveying, inspection, and metrology equipment, including Total Stations, 3D Laser Scanners, Faro,Leica, GPR, Point Cloud and dimensional surveying equipment. Monitor KPIs, operational costs, P&L, productivity, equipment utilization, and resource efficiency. Identify operational issues and implement improvements to processes, workflows, resource utilization, and operational efficiency. Support digitalization and workflow automation of operational activities. Coordinate technical teams involved in inspection, NDT, metrology, surveying, E&I, and pre-commissioning activities. Ensure personnel, equipment, certifications, documentation, and logistics are aligned with project requirements. Maintain effective communication between management, field teams, clients, and project stakeholders. Prepare operational reports and provide management updates on project and resource performance. Technical Exposure The candidate should have sufficient technical awareness to coordinate projects involving: Inspection & Welding: CSWIP 3.1, CSWIP 3.2, AWS CWI, API 510, API 570, API 653 NDT: RT/Radiography, UT/Ultrasonic, MT/Magnetic Testing, PT/Penetrate Testing, PAUT, TOFD Surveying & Metrology: Total Station, 3D Laser Scanning, Point Cloud, CMM, Faro, Leica, GPR, Spatial Analyzer, Dimensional Surveying E&I & Pre-Commissioning: CompEx, CompEx Ex 1–4, ATEX, IECEx, EEHA, Loop Checking, Cold Loop, Hot Loop, Megger, Continuity Testing, Calibration Offshore Operations: BOSIET and related personnel readiness requirements. The Operations Manager is not required to perform technical inspection personally or testing activities, but should understand the operational, manpower, equipment, certification, and logistics requirements associated with these disciplines. Requirements Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Operations Management or a related operational role. Strong experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Engineering, Inspection, Surveying, Marine, or Industrial Services. Proven experience in field operations, crew mobilization, logistics, site supervision, equipment management, and resource planning. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and field personnel. Strong understanding of KPI management, P&L/cost control, resource optimization, and operational planning. Exposure to inspection, NDT, surveying, metrology, E&I, or commissioning environments. Experience with UAE/GCC projects is preferred. Experience with ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, ADMA, BP, Shell, or ONGC projects is an advantage. Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory. Willingness to travel to project sites and support onshore/offshore operations.
