This role includes managing staffing levels, scheduling, and team performance to ensure consistent, high-quality service and adherence to Waffle House standards. The Operations Manager monitors food safety, cleanliness, and operational procedures, analyzes sales and cost reports, and implements action plans to drive revenue and control expenses. This position also focuses on training, coaching, and developing Associates for internal promotion, while fostering a safe, inclusive, and customer-focused work environment. The Operations Manager collaborates with leadership to support company initiatives and maintain strong relationships with both Customers and Associates.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in restaurant or retail operations management, including staff supervision and day-to-day oversight of multiple units or a high-volume location.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to train, coach, motivate, and develop diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in customer service and conflict resolution, with a commitment to creating positive experiences for guests and team members.Solid understanding of budgeting, basic financial analysis, and cost control practices (e.g., labor, inventory, and waste management).Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and make sound decisions under pressure.Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to provide clear instructions and feedback.Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality, business, or management is beneficial.Previous experience in a quick-service or casual dining environment is preferred, but candidates with
