Operations Manager - Fit out and Construction

Job PurposeWe are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of both Medge, our Interior Fit-Out division, and Neotrine, our Construction division. The role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while driving operational efficiency across both businesses.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in interior fit-out, joinery, and construction operations, with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and leading cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the overall operations of both the Interior Fit-Out and Construction divisions.Plan, manage, and monitor multiple projects from initiation through completion.Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards.Lead project managers, site teams, joinery production, and support functions to ensure seamless project execution.Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.Coordinate closely with design, estimation, procurement, commercial, and finance teams throughout the project lifecycle.Monitor project performance, resource allocation, and workforce productivity.Review project costs, budgets, forecasts, and profitability, taking corrective actions where required.Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and project delivery.Prepare operational reports and present project updates to senior management.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.10–15 years of experience in construction and interior fit-out operations.Strong hands-on experience in interior fit-out, joinery manufacturing, and construction project management.Proven experience managing multiple high-value commercial, retail, hospitality, or luxury residential projects.Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, contracts, procurement, and execution.Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams across multiple project sites.Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage costs and improve operational performance.Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).Key CompetenciesOperational LeadershipConstruction & Fit-Out Project ManagementJoinery OperationsCommercial & Financial ManagementStrategic PlanningBudget ControlResource PlanningRisk ManagementClient Relationship ManagementTeam Leadership & People DevelopmentProblem Solving & Decision MakingQuality & Safety Management
