This role oversees day-to-day husbandry services for vessels, including crew changes, visa and immigration arrangements, and coordination of supplies, repairs, and welfare services. The Operations Manager monitors vessel schedules, liaises with port authorities and service providers, and ensures all husbandry operations comply with local regulations and client requirements. Responsibilities include managing documentation, resolving operational issues, optimizing costs, and maintaining accurate records of all services delivered. The position also involves supervising local operational staff, supporting continuous process improvement, and providing regular updates and reports to regional and international stakeholders.Are you a maritime leader ready to build an operation from scratch? A newly established, foreign-invested shipping agency is seeking an autonomous Operations Manager to launch and lead our specialized vessel husbandry division in Vietnam, serving premium Greek and European ship owners.Key Responsibilities* Startup & Setup: Design workflows, establish SOPs, and build our local husbandry vendor networks from the ground up.* Port Operations: Oversee end-to-end husbandry matters (crew changes, bunkering, spares, provisioning) at major local ports.* Liaison & Relations: Manage local port authorities, customs, and immigration while acting as the primary face for European principals.What We Are Looking For* Experience: 6+ years in shipping agency operations with a heavy focus on vessel husbandry.
