Trusted by leading real estate, coworking, and GCC clients across India, we build partnerships grounded in consistency and trust.ROLE SUMMARY AND STRATEGIC INTENT:The Operations Manager is the operational anchor of Legend Outdoor Advertising (LOA). Taking overall ownership of the projects and operations department, this role bridges strategic executive planning with ground-level execution. The Operations Manager governs end-to-end production, vendor networks, resource allocation, team mentoring, and high-volume project delivery, ensuring all active projects progress seamlessly within budget, to engineering specifications, safely, and on schedule.COMPLETE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES:Product & Process Understanding: Develop a complete understanding of the company's products, services, project processes, and execution requirements.Departmental Ownership: Take overall ownership of the projects and operations department and ensure all active projects are progressing as planned.Projects Sheet Management: Maintain complete ownership of the Projects Sheet and ensure all projects are accurately updated, tracked, and monitored.Primary Accountability: Act as the primary point of accountability for overall project status, major delays, pending issues, and departmental performance.Team Direction & Next Steps: Ensure that Project Managers and Site Supervisors are clear about their responsibilities, priorities, and next steps.Stage Transition & Bottleneck Clearing: Ensure projects move smoothly from one stage to the next and intervene when major bottlenecks or delays arise.Project Review Leadership: Lead daily or regular project review meetings and clearly define the next steps and responsibilities for each team member.Tracker & Calendar Compliance: Ensure all team members update project trackers, calendars, follow-ups, and other required records on time.Major Operational Decisions: Take major operational and project-related decisions involving clients, vendors, internal teams, resources, and execution.Escalation Support: Support the team in resolving escalated issues that cannot be handled at the Project Manager or Site Supervisor level.Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate between the projects, design, accounts, and other internal teams to ensure everyone is working towards the same project requirements.Resource Optimization: Allocate and utilize company resources, including employees, vendors, software, and other tools, to achieve the required outcomes.Team Building & Leadership: Build a strong and reliable projects team and ensure effective coordination between all team members.Mentorship & Guidance: Lead, mentor, and support Project Managers and Site Supervisors to improve their performance, decision-making, and accountability.Performance Monitoring: Monitor team performance, identify skill gaps, and arrange training or support wherever required.Hiring & Onboarding Support: Support the hiring, onboarding, and training of employees within the projects and operations department.Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with important clients, vendors, builders, and other key stakeholders.Crisis Management: Step into sensitive or escalated situations involving clients, vendors, builders, or internal teams and handle them calmly and professionally.Reputation Protection: Ensure all major decisions and communications protect the company's reputation and maintain strong professional relationships.Risk & Contingency Planning: Identify major risks and recurring operational problems and develop practical solutions and contingency plans.SOP Documentation & Learnings: Document major project learnings, challenges, solutions, and contingency plans and incorporate them into company SOPs.Continuous Process Improvement: Continuously improve project management processes, internal coordination, reporting systems, and operational efficiency.Systems & Tool Modernization: Introduce new tools, software, and systems after understanding existing processes and identifying genuine operational requirements.Integrity & Ethical Conduct: Maintain complete honesty, transparency, and ethical conduct in all operational, financial, and vendor-related matters.Accountable Work Culture: Create a positive, accountable, and motivated work environment and help the team perform at its highest potential.Autonomous Execution: Take responsibility for the overall performance of the projects department without requiring constant daily follow-up from management.High-Volume Multi-Project Management: Manage a high volume of projects through effective delegation, prioritization, internal coordination, and team leadership.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND TOOL COMPETENCIESExperience: 6–10 years of operational leadership experience in Signage, Retail Fit-Out, Commercial Interior Contracting, or OOH Manufacturing.Technical Depth: Deep fabrication mastery in 3D Acrylic letters, Channelium, LED power loads, ACP cladding, Neon flex, and architectural wayfinding.Software Mastery: Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), and basic file inspection in CorelDraw, Illustrator, and AutoCAD.Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Production Engineering, or Operations Management.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)On-Time Project Delivery Rate: ≥ 95% of project handovers completed strictly on or before client SLA target dates.Rework & Snag Cost Rate: Keeping total project rework/snag costs
