Our client, a leader in the elevator industry, is seeking a Service/Repair Operations Manager to lead service and repair performance across the Los Angeles market.In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day performance of the service and repair business, helping drive safe, efficient, high-quality results for customers while supporting the teams responsible for delivering them.Success in this position requires someone who is comfortable balancing people leadership, field operations, financial performance, and customer needs. Elevator industry experience is not required.Education & Leadership Experience: Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years of branch-level management experience considered in lieu of a degree.Technical Aptitude: Ability to interpret technical instructions, documents, blueprints, diagrams, and other project or equipment information.Leadership & Communication: Proven people-leadership and communication skills with experience leading teams and building relationships.Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Analytical mindset, sound judgment, and confidence managing priorities, working independently, and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Coach the Operational Team: Support and supervise all service and repair operations employees. Communicate effectively with the team regarding safety, policies, and company objectives.Ensure Profitability: Use accounting reports to review route performance and call-back data. Make strategic changes to optimize profitability.Lead with Safety: Administer company safety program to service and repair team. Perform weekly safety audits and set high safety standards across all job sites.Collaborate with Sales and Branch Management: Partner with sales teams by providing technical input on repair scopes and material needs for proposals. Collaborate with other members of the branch management team to provide excellent customer service.Stay Current: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of elevator codes, company product offerings, and industry developments. Engage with regional field trainers and attend training sessions as needed.Solve Problems & Adapt: Step in as needed to resolve operational challenges, support the team, maintain customer service, and perform other assigned duties.

Location: Cerritos – Local travel required to client locations and job sites is required.Salary range $145,000- $195,000 with additional annual incentive compensation 0% - 100%.
