Operations Manager - USA & Canada

Headquartered in Brisbane, we operate across domestic and international markets, experiencing rapid growth and innovation.LocationWith onsite parking available, this new role is based at our LA office located near Marina Del Rey.The RoleWe are seeking an ambitious, systems-minded Operations Manager to bridge the gap between our physical logistics network and our technology infrastructure. In this hands-on role, you won't be writing code, but you will be the person who makes our operations run more efficiently.You will diagnose operational bottlenecks within our 3PL network, translate those issues into automated system requirements for our in-house programming team, and help optimise our supply chain end-to-end. Our website and internal systems are fully custom, supported by in-house developers, and we sell primarily direct to consumer rather than through third-party marketplaces.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse current logistics workflows to identify inefficiencies and operational bottlenecks across the fulfilment network, and translate operational pain points into clear, structured functional requirements for our in-house programming team to build automated solutions.Manage day-to-day relationships with third-party vendors, including 3PL networks, LTL freight providers, installation partners, and last-mile carriers. Support vendor selection, onboarding and commercial negotiations, and monitor ongoing SLA performance against forecast volumes and growth plans.Support financial control over operational spend by approving invoices within delegated limits, auditing and reconciling logistics and freight billing, recovering discrepancies, and working with Finance on payment timing and cash flow accuracy.Monitor operational metrics and translate forecasts into SKU-level inputs for fulfilment partners, proactively flagging risks, trends, and opportunities to stakeholders.Look after the technical operational stack, including backend integrations, APIs, data pipelines, and automated order workflows. Maintain the operations development queue, triage issues with engineering, and act as first responder to system failures affecting order flow, including out of hours.Act as an escalation point for complex customer issues across product, installation, freight, and service delivery, applying remedies within guidelines and turning recurring issues into operational or vendor improvements.Why Join Us?A clear pathway for growth.
