Operations Manger

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end operations of our FMCG warehouse. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse performance, accurate inventory management, cost control, safety compliance, and timely order fulfillment.The successful candidate will lead warehouse teams, monitor operational KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.Responsibilities:Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and outbound dispatchEnsure smooth material flow and compliance with operational SOPs, service-level agreements, and safety standardsMonitor key warehouse KPIs, including order fulfillment, picking accuracy, OTIF, dock-to-stock time, and employee productivityLead and supervise warehouse supervisors, team leaders, pickers, and forklift operatorsPlan manpower requirements, shifts, and productivity targets according to operational volumes and seasonal demandConduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support employee developmentIdentify operational bottlenecks and implement lean warehouse practicesImprove picking methods, including batch, wave, and zone picking, to increase productivitySupport the effective utilization of warehouse management systems, automation, and process digitizationMaintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliationEnsure compliance with FIFO/FEFO procedures, expiry-date controls, and damage-prevention practicesCoordinate with Inventory Control teams to investigate and resolve stock variances and shrinkageControl warehouse operating costs, including labor, equipment, and consumablesOptimize warehouse space utilization and material-handling efficiencySupport capacity planning, layout optimization, new SKU onboarding, seasonal peaks, and volume increasesEnsure compliance with HSE, food safety, and applicable local regulationsMaintain a safe working environment and reduce workplace incidents and operational risksEnsure timely and accurate order fulfillment and resolve escalated operational issues affecting service levelsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field5-10 years of experience in warehouse or operations managementAt least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial positionPrevious experience in an FMCG warehouse or high-volume distribution environment is requiredStrong hands-on knowledge of inbound receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch operationsGood understanding of inventory management, FIFO/FEFO, productivity KPIs, and warehouse cost controlProficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and operational reportingStrong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and people-management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
