Role Summary

The Operations Officer will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of operational processes to meet regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of services.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on daily operational activities, ensuring seamless execution of trade settlements, reconciliations, and other key processes.Monitor and enhance operational workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and automation.Process client funds transfers and shares transfers. Prepare and review regulatory filing requirements in collaboration with Finance and Compliance.Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and procedures.Mitigate operational risks by implementing and maintaining robust control mechanisms.Conduct regular audits to identify and address potential compliance issues.Work closely with client services and support teams to address client inquiries and concerns related to operations.Identify opportunities for enhancing the client experience through streamlined operational processes.Collaborate with IT teams to integrate and optimize technology solutions for operational efficiency.Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to recommend and implement innovative solutions.Generate and analyze operational reports to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.Skills/Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or a related field.Thorough understanding of brokerage operations, trade settlements, and regulatory requirements.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.At least 3+ years of experience in the trading industry.Experience dealing with software development teams a plus.Trading experience a plus.Excellent communication skills.
