Underpinned by our excellent Artist Development team, we connect the greatest artists in the world to their fans in Asia.Split Works is seeking a hyper-organized Operations – Project Lead to drive end-to-end live music events, tours, and agency projects across China. Positioned at the critical junction of client management, artist logistics, and technical venue execution, this role takes full operational ownership of advancing, financial oversight, vendor contracting, and ground-level execution to ensure every performance and activation runs seamlessly. ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Project Leadership: Lead complex live music projects, brand activations, and tour logistics from initial scoping through final execution and post-event reconciliation.Advancing & Operational Planning: Oversee all project logistics, technical advancing, scheduling, and hospitality coordination across all venues and dates.Permits & Visas: Lead the China permit application process and guide artist teams through visa requirements, ensuring smooth and timely entry for all touring parties.Production & Venue Coordination: Serve as the central communication bridge between technical production teams, artist representatives, and live houses/venues to align technical riders and operational workflows.Financial & Contract Management: Draft, review, and execute vendor/supplier contracts, build and manage precise project budgets, and complete post-show financial reconciliations.Client & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with brand clients, agency partners, local vendors, and venue managers.On-Site Execution: Direct live venue operations, supervise crews, and manage real-time troubleshooting on show days.QualificationsLanguage Mastery: Native Mandarin fluency combined with advanced written and spoken English skills.Relevant Experience: Background in event agencies, live music execution, or technical event management, with direct familiarity with Chinese live house operations and venue setups.Operational Precision: Meticulous organizational skills with a proven track record of handling budgeting, contracting, and multi-variable project timelines.Leadership & Negotiation: Strong leadership style with the ability to negotiate, manage cross-functional relationships, and maintain high standards under pressure.
