An automotive parts distributor is actively seeking an Operations Representative / Sales Operations & Supply Chain Coordinator to join their facility near LaVergne, TN.Responsibilities of Operations Representative / Sales Operations & Supply Chain Coordinator:Manage customer order entry, forecasts, and EDI orders with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.Respond to customer correspondence and maintain complete customer profiles so service continues smoothly during team absences.Translate customer orders and forecasts into supplier planning and purchasing requirements.Communicate with suppliers and coordinate direct shipments, incoming ASNs, and order status updates.Maintain appropriate inventory levels using historical usage, customer demand, and forecast information.Prepare certificates of origin and USMCA certificates when required.Resolve customer complaints, return material authorizations, and vendor claims professionally and promptly.Coordinate air freight and other time-sensitive logistics needs.Maintain new-part records, price changes, and tooling charges based on documentation from Outside Sales.Partner with Accounting on collection follow-up and with other teams to resolve customer and supplier issues.Other job duties are assigned as neededQualifications of Operations Representative / Sales Operations & Supply Chain Coordinator:Associates in business administration, supply chain management Marketing, Communication, and related field.At least 2 years of B2B inside sales/ order management experience in preferably manufacturing industries.Strong written communication and a professional, customer-focused approach.Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail across multiple priorities.Experience in customer operations, order management, purchasing, planning, logistics, or a related environment.Confidence working with spreadsheets and business systems; ERP, EDI, or ASN experience is a plus.Ability to interpret demand information and make sound day-to-day decisions about orders and inventory.Automotive, importing, USMCA, or certificate-of-origin experience is helpful but not required.While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
