Port Everglades is our primary US hub — nearly every voyage starts or ends here — which makes this one of the most critical roles in our global operations.The RoleWe're looking for a hands-on Operations Superintendent to own day-to-day cargo operations on board our vessels and yard. This is an on-the-ground role at the heart of our US operation: when our ships are in port, you're the person making sure load and discharge run safely, on schedule, and to the standard our clients expect.This is a dynamic, high-tempo environment. Vessel schedules drive the work, so flexibility is essential — evening and weekend work is expected when vessels are in port, and occasional travel to nearby ports may be required.What You'll DoOversee day-to-day heavy lift operations in the yard and on board vesselsSupport the planning phase and communicate with yacht owners on loading and discharge operationsCoordinate with our global agent networkSupervise subcontractors working on board during cargo operations Work closely with the Loadmaster team, stevedores, and other port stakeholdersMaintain real-time inventory records and proactively procure required materialsWhat You BringA strong eye for detail — precision is essential in everything we moveSelf-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take ownershipFlexible and adaptable to the dynamic, ever-changing nature of port operationsA hands-on mentality — this is a physical, on-the-ground role requiring active daily involvement in yard and vessel operationsA background in maritime, marine services, or port operations (you understand the shipping world)RequirementsBachelor's degree required, ideally in a maritime, engineering, or logistics field5+ years of experience in maritime, port, logistics, or vessel operationsAble to work around vessel schedules, and travel to nearby ports as neededWhy Cross CharteringJoin a tight-knit team that treats every vessel like its own and takes pride in an on-time, incident-free delivery record.
