LinkedIn Job Post – Operations Team Leader / Head of Operations📍 Dubai, UAE | Full-time | Office-based | Monday–FridayWe're looking for an experienced aviation leader to manage our multinational flight operations team across multiple countries!This is a true leadership role. You won't just coordinate flights – you'll be responsible for guiding, developing, and supervising operations teams located in different regions, ensuring seamless service delivery across time zones and jurisdictions.What you'll do:✅ Lead, mentor, and supervise operations teams based in multiple countries – provide daily guidance, coaching, and performance feedback✅ Maintain real-time situational awareness of all active flights across the network✅ Stay fully informed on every trip's status – from permit applications to ground handling and departure✅ Act as the primary escalation point for complex or high-priority cases across all locations✅ Ensure consistent application of SOPs and quality standards across the entire operations team, regardless of location✅ Coordinate cross-border communication between local teams, CAAs, handlers, and fuel suppliers✅ Oversee all flight planning, overflight/landing permits, and route plotting (Item 18, EET, entry/exit points)✅ Conduct regular team briefings, performance reviews, and training sessions remotely and in-person✅ Foster a strong team culture and ensure smooth handovers between regional officesWhat you bring:🔹 Minimum 3 years in UAE aviation – with at least 1 year in a supervisory/managerial role🔹 Must have hands-on dispatching experience – flight monitoring, real-time decision-making, crisis management🔹 Proven experience managing distributed or multinational teams across different time zones🔹 Deep knowledge of overflight/landing permits, ICAO flight plans, and route plotting🔹 Proficiency with JetPlanner, ARINC, PPS, or equivalent flight planning systems🔹 Fluent English (spoken & written) – Russian or Arabic is a strong plus🔹 Strong leadership, coaching, and cross-cultural communication skills🔹 Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick, informed decisions🔹 Stable availability for a Monday–Friday office scheduleWe offer:💰 Competitive tax-free salary🩺 Comprehensive medical insurance+ benefits🌍 Multicultural, fast-paced environment with leading aviation players across the regionReady to lead a truly global operations team?Send your CV or tag a qualified connection!
