Blue Fleet is seeking an experienced Operator to join our Operations team and support the commercial and operational management of our dry bulk fleet.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor voyage execution and vessel performance.Review cargo plans and stowage arrangements.Monitor voyage progress and proactively resolve operational issues.Evaluate weather routing recommendations and voyage performance to optimize fuel consumption and operational efficiency.Support Masters on operational matters.Negotiate and review Disbursement Accounts (DAs).Ensure compliance with charter party terms and voyage instructions.Prepare and review voyage documentation, including NORs, SOFs and Bills of Lading.Liaise with Owners, Charterers, Agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth voyage execution.RequirementsDegree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Nautical Science or related field.Alternatively, Master Mariner or Chief Officer License.Minimum 5 years' experience in vessel operations/post-fixture operations.Good understanding of dry bulk operations and charter party requirements.Strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipping software (Benefit).Excellent command of English.What We OfferPrivate medical insurance.Professional and collaborative working environment.A work place with a strong focus on values and work-life balance.
