The role involves ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly within the designated work areas.Key ResponsabilitiesEnsure the daily operations of the working zonesCollect all relevant data specified on the zone log sheetsTake action where required and report any anomalies to the Control Room Operator, Chief Operator, and/or Section SupervisorCoordinate maintenance and engineering activities with the Control Room Operator, carrying out the required plant isolations/de-isolations and ensuring all other precautions specified on the work permit are followedStop and start equipment as requiredEnsure general housekeeping and undertake first-line maintenance activities within the working zonesCarry out routine equipment and plant isolations, ensuring that all other precautions stated on the permit are adhered toStart and stop equipment when required after carrying out the necessary pre-start and shutdown checksMinimise the number of station, gas compression, or individual equipment trips by controlling the production process and responding to process parameters and alarmsMaintain accurate logs of equipment parameters within the zone (as specified on the log sheets) and update the zone logbooks accordinglyReport any anomalies occurring within the zone to the Control Room Operator, Chief Operator, and/or Section SupervisorCarry out first-line maintenance within the working zones and ensure that routine sampling and lube/seal oil reservoirs for equipment are maintained in good orderCarry out interlock system reviews and update the logbook accordinglyEnsure the installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of chemical injection pumpsProvide technical input on sludge remediation and other waste-handling techniquesProvide technical input on all water treatment aspects of produced water, injection water, and effluent water projectsRequirementsHigh School Certificate, HNC (BTS), or equivalent qualificationMinimum 3-5 years of operational experience in hydrocarbon processing and operations, or within the oil and gas industry generallyMultidisciplinary technical experience with a sound technical foundationFluent in French with a basic knowledge of EnglishGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamStrong analytical skillsStrong self-motivation and initiativeAbility to work under pressureAbility to work within a team environmentPromote company values, behaviours, and leadership qualities through open and honest discussionOperate responsibly and safely
