Optical transmission field deployment Engineer

Key Responsibilities * Conduct technical site assessments for new deployments, expansions, and network upgrades.* Install, connect, and integrate optical transmission equipment and associated infrastructure.* Perform equipment configuration, commissioning, and service activation.* Carry out network testing and troubleshoot deployment-related issues.* Execute acceptance tests and verify system performance against project requirements.* Prepare technical reports and ensure proper project documentation.* Coordinate with customers, project teams, and other technical stakeholders during field activities. Qualifications & Requirements * B.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering or a related discipline.* 2–5 years of hands-on experience in optical transmission networks.* Practical knowledge of DWDM and OTN technologies.* Experience using optical test and measurement equipment such as: * OTDR * BERT * OSA* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.* Ability to work independently at different project locations.* Willingness to travel extensively across Egypt.* Valid driving license is an advantage.
