Our mission is to deliver the higheststandard of ophthalmic care through innovative technology and compassionate service.Internship Overview: Eye Mantra Hospital is seeking motivated and dedicated individuals for a 12-month Optometrist Internship. This program is designed to provide practical experience and enhanceskills in various aspects of optometry, including Autorefractor (AR), Non-Contact Tonometry (NCT),Refraction, and vision testing. Interns will work closely with experienced optometrists andophthalmologists, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to a wide range of eye care proceduresand patient interactions.Responsibilities:• Assist in performing comprehensive eye examinations, including vision tests and refraction.• Operate diagnostic equipment such as Autorefractor (AR) and Non-Contact Tonometer (NCT).• Take accurate patient history and document findings.• Help in diagnosing and managing common ocular conditions.• Educate patients about eye health, contact lens care, and preventive measures.• Support optometrists in daily clinical tasks and administrative duties.• Maintain and sterilize equipment following hospital protocols.• Participate in training sessions and workshops conducted by senior staff.Requirements:• Basic knowledge of Autorefractor (AR), Non-Contact Tonometry (NCT), and refractiontechniques.• Understanding of how to take vision and conduct vision tests.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.• Professional demeanor and commitment to patient care.Educational Qualifications:• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Optometry or a related field.
